Checking the brakes

It is hard to believe I have not done anything on the car since January. My mother passed away in April and two grandchildren were born, so I have been focused on other things. I have been driving the car, but not doing much on it. Fall maintenance is coming up soon, but I had a little time today, so I decided to inspect my disc brake conversion for problems.

I have had no complaints so far with the new brakes. They far outperform the super skinny tires the car is wearing. But I figured it would be wise to take a peek and look for any problems.

Everything looks great mechanically. No signs of anything hitting or rubbing and all the bolts are still tight.
I started tracing the lines back, searching for any signs of leakage. All the fittings look good.
The rear residual pressure valve looks good. There is a blob of something on the right side bottom of the valve. I am not sure what that is. I did not even notice it until I was looking at these pictures. That may need some follow-up.
I don’t know why I thought everything would be OK. It appears the front residual pressure valve is leaking. Worse yet, it is leaking from the valve body, not the flare fittings I did. I can try cranking the valve body tighter, but I want to do some research first. The master cylinder is still full, and there are no drips on the garage floor. This is a very minor leak. I will probably just buy another valve and install it.
Fall maintenance coming up as soon as I get more oil and an oil filter. I will probably try cranking this valve tighter too. I guess there is not much to lose.
